How to Cook
Add pearls to boiling water at a 1:8 ratio, cook over medium heat for 25 minutes, then turn off the heat and let stew for 20-25 minutes depending on pearl size and desired chewiness. Rinse under cool, flowing water to remove the sticky liquid for a great chewy texture, then store or mix with fructose or syrup to enhance flavour.

Cooking Instructions

Bring water to a boil (ratio: 6 cups water per 1 cup pearls).

Add pearls and stir gently until they float.

Simmer for 25–30 minutes.

Turn off the heat and let pearls sit covered for another 25–30 minutes.

Rinse under cold water, then soak in sugar syrup or honey before serving.

Tip: Best served fresh on the same day. Store unused pearls in an airtight container, refrigerated for up to 12 hours.

Shelf life: 12 months (unopened).

Once opened, reseal tightly and use within 2 weeks.
